Welcome to the Gates County Chamber of Commerce! Since our inception in 2009, we have been dedicated to empowering the local business community and helping the public discover the vibrant opportunities in Gates County.

Our Mission Our mission is to be the leading voice in advocating for, promoting, and creating opportunities for the business and professional community of Gates County.

What We Do

• Advocacy: We actively participate in public policy discussions at the local, county, state, and federal levels to support pro-business initiatives.
• Economic Development: We foster economic growth across all sectors of local business, offering resources and support for new businesses and those looking to expand or relocate to Gates County.
• Member Engagement: We ensure our members maximize their Chamber membership through events like ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and various networking opportunities.
• Special Events: We host both large and small events to bring our community together and support local businesses.

Regional Participation We represent Gates County in numerous regional meetings and networking opportunities, including:

• NC's Northeast Alliance
• NC's Northeast Tourism (NET)
• Northeast Workforce Development Board
• Roanoke Chowan Partners for Progress (RCPP2)
